North Korea fires short-range ballistic missiles off east coast
South Korean officials reported that North Korea launched several short-range ballistic missiles from the Wonsan area toward the sea early Saturday morning. The projectiles traveled approximately 250 kilometers before landing in international waters, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff. Intelligence authorities from South Korea and the United States tracked the launches and shared data with Japan.
