EWCA Islamabad Chapter plants trees with IIUI and Rotary Club
The East-West Centre Alumni Association Islamabad Chapter, International Islamic University Islamabad, and Rotary Club Islamabad Metropolitan planted trees at the university's Faculty of Environmental Sciences on Monday.
Leadership guided the planting drive
EWCA President Tayyaba Gul led the event alongside Dr Asad Ghufran and Faiz Paracha. Rotary Club President Mian Shaukat Masood also took part in the activity by planting a tree.
Students joined the environmental effort
More than 150 students participated in the drive to support climate action. The group worked together at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences on Monday.
Officials emphasized community collaboration
Tayyaba Gul noted that such initiatives strengthen ties between the East-West Centre and local communities. She added that these projects allow institutions and students to address shared issues.
