Paramount has released the official trailer for the modern Western thriller The Rescue starring Brandon Sklenar.

The film follows Jamie Lee, a former rodeo cowboy who hunts a criminal syndicate after his daughter is kidnapped. A sinister caller gives his ex-wife a 48-hour deadline to pay a 45 million USD ransom. Local law enforcement cannot act quickly enough so Jamie takes matters into his own hands.
Setting and production style
The story combines the rugged countryside aesthetic of Yellowstone with visceral revenge elements similar to John Wick. Sklenar uses his horseman skills and survivalist instincts while accompanied by the family's loyal dog in a treacherous mountain zone.
