Leadership roles defined under emergency

PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan issued a notification stating that the provincial organisation shall continue functioning under Akbar's presidency. Senator Noorul Haq Qadri will preside over all provincial cabinet meetings when Akbar is unavailable. Provincial Secretary General Ali Asghar Khan will chair meetings if both Akbar and Qadri are absent.

Administrative responsibilities assigned to officials

Ali Asghar Khan has been empowered to call and chair meetings at other tiers of the provincial organisation. He is also responsible for overall administration, coordination, and supervision with all wings to implement party policies. These arrangements establish a succession mechanism without displacing Akbar from his official position.
