Tom Holland joins Margaret Qualley and Sabrina Carpenter in Fred Astaire biopic
A film about Fred Astaire has secured Tom Holland, Margaret Qualley, and Sabrina Carpenter to star in the project directed by Paul King.

Tom Holland will portray the legendary dancer Fred Astaire. Margaret Qualley is cast as Adele Astaire, his sister and original dance partner. Sabrina Carpenter will play Ginger Rogers, the performer who worked alongside Astaire in Hollywood films.

Paul King directs the not-yet-titled movie which is based on Kathleen Riley's biography The Astaires: Fred & Adele. Steven Levenson wrote the screenplay while Riley serves as a script consultant. Holland also produces the film alongside Amy Pascal and Tyler McKenzie.
