Cult Gaia designer Jasmin Larian Hekmat unveils Resort 2027 collection inspired by moths
Designer Jasmin Larian Hekmat presented the Cult Gaia Resort 2027 collection in a show that drew inspiration from moth behavior.

Moth concept drives design choices
Hekmat stated that the collection began with the concept of what an insect represents rather than its biology. She explained that unlike butterflies, a moth moves by moonlight and light for her vision. The designer described the Cult Gaia woman as someone who has the strength to follow whatever illuminates her.
Silhouettes feature dresses and separates
The resort assortment doubled down on signature dresses while also ramping up casual day-to-day separates. Specific items included plissé styles with polka dots or deep emerald colors featuring plunging necklines. Covered-up options such as lace and crochet gowns appeared in punchy red or minimal whites.
Basics receive a wanderlust twist
Hekmat infused everyday staples with a sense of wanderlust through specific construction details. Her Micah top featured built-in wavy seams along the front to make a tank look groovy. The Tavia sweater included cocoon-like sleeves that drew directly back to her moth inspiration.
