Sanofi and Regeneron expand Dupixent partnership with new antibody deal
Sanofi and Regeneron announced an expanded collaboration on immunology antibodies on Thursday following the success of their drug Dupixent.

Financial terms of the pact
The agreement requires Sanofi to pay Regeneron $1 billion upfront immediately. Additional milestone payments could total up to $7 billion more depending on future results. Profits from the resulting medicines will be divided evenly between the two companies.

Regeneron will take the lead on research and development for the new series of antibodies. Sanofi is responsible for spearheading commercial efforts and leveraging its global reach. George Yancopoulos, Regeneron's chief scientific officer, stated that combining their expertise aims to deliver the next wave of innovation in immunology.
