GMA anchor Will Reeve announced his testicular cancer diagnosis and successful treatment completion in September.
Initial symptoms and diagnosis details
Reeve noticed a tender lump while showering in April. His wife urged him to get an ultrasound which confirmed the condition. Surgery took place in May to remove the affected testicle.
Treatment progression and lymph node removal
Further testing indicated the cancer spread to three abdominal lymph nodes. A second six-hour operation occurred in June to address these nodes. He finished chemotherapy rounds on July 31 after the procedures.
Current status and future plans
A checkup on September 8 confirmed he is now cancer-free. Reeve took time away from his work at ABC News during recovery. He also banked sperm with his wife before starting treatment.
