Heavy snowfall suspends traffic on Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road in Kaghan Valley
Kaghan Valley received heavy snowfall on Monday, causing a temporary suspension of traffic between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Road conditions halt travel beyond Naran
Police officials stated that the MNJ Road was cleared for vehicles only up to Naran. Tourists were barred from traveling further toward Babusar Top until weather conditions improved. The slippery surface forced authorities to stop all movement between the two regions.
Snow covers multiple high-altitude locations
Accumulation began early in the morning at sites including Saiful Muluk Lake and Lolosar Lake. The weather continued to worsen intermittently throughout the day across the valley. Local officials noted that indigenous communities are beginning their migration to lower areas.
Tourism season faces winter closure
Hotel association leaders said visitors currently enjoy the snow while roads remain open to Naran. Authorities warn motorists to avoid rash driving on the slippery route from Balakot. The entire communication system is expected to end in December when heavy snow returns.
