Cathay Pacific extends Middle East flight suspension to end of January
Cathay Pacific has extended its suspension of passenger flights to Dubai and Riyadh until January 31, 2027.
Passenger services remain cancelled
The Hong Kong carrier confirmed that travel to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will stay on hold. This decision marks the third postponement since hostilities began between the United States, Israel and Iran. Affected customers can choose to rebook their tickets or request a refund.

Freighter services to these destinations will continue to be evaluated by the airline. Cathay stated it will watch the regional situation carefully before making further moves. No specific date has been set for restarting freight transport yet.
