Milan Fashion Week designers showcase exposed bras in Spring 2027 collections
Designers at Milan Fashion Week presented Spring 2027 runway shows featuring ensembles that prominently displayed undergarments.
Prada and Fendi lead the trend
Prada's Spring 2027 collection included skirts on all 63 looks while many outfits featured only a bra. The brand used a retro-feeling silk bra with lace inserts for the opening look. At Fendi, Maria Grazia Chiuri paired a satin and lace bralette with tap pants and other layers.
Other brands join the movement
Etro models wore little bralettes under tweedy skirt suits while Diesel and MM6 Margiela also showed exposed bras. In London, McQueen revealed lace balconette bras beneath draped satin dresses during its show. Erdem layered rhinestone bras under blazers and Chopova Lowena styled theirs without a top.
New York shows similar styles
Altuzarra displayed versions of exposed bras bursting from button-front dresses in New York. Khaite's opening look featured Kaia Gerber wearing only a bra and a long leather pencil skirt.
