PM aide says off-the-record talks continue between federal govt and PTI over October 4 march
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah stated on Thursday that the federal government and PTI are holding off-the-record talks regarding a planned protest on October 4.

Government plans to stop march
Sanaullah warned that arrangements are in place to prevent participants from entering Islamabad if the leadership does not call off the event. He compared the proposed march to a provincial government attacking the capital and stated such an action cannot be tolerated.
Governor's rule option discussed
The adviser confirmed that the option of imposing governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains on the table for the federal government. He noted that the final decision requires parliamentary approval and rests with the Senate.
Social media influence cited
Sanaullah alleged that individuals operating from social media platforms are dictating the party's course regarding the protest. He also claimed the KP chief minister has not been performing his functions as the province's chief executive.
