Norway ministers face questions over Epstein connections in parliament
Norwegian parliament officials began hearings on Wednesday to examine ties between senior diplomats and the late Jeffrey Epstein.

Committee summons eleven officials
A total of 11 current and former ministers will speak before a committee regarding diplomatic service practices. The group includes Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, who served as foreign minister from 2005 to 2012.
Investigation focuses on IPI payments
Hearings follow revelations about foreign ministry payments exceeding 130 million kroner to the International Peace Institute between 1997 and 2018. The think tank was headed by diplomat Terje Rod-Larsen, who is now under investigation for complicity in aggravated corruption.
Officials deny wrongdoing claims
The couple comprising Rod-Larsen and his wife Mona Juul denies any involvement with the financier. Police investigations are currently underway while the government seeks to restore trust in its foreign service.
