Peacock releases full trailer for Crystal Lake Friday the 13th prequel series
Peacock released a new trailer on Sunday for its upcoming Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake starring Linda Cardellini.

Trailer reveals plot details and cast
The full trailer was released on Sunday, the 13th. It shows Pamela Voorhees working at Camp Crystal Lake in 1971 before her son Jason drowns. Linda Cardellini plays the mother who becomes convinced her son is still in the woods. William Catlett appears as a local cop in the footage. The cast also includes Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch and Phoenix Parnevik.
Production team and release date
Brad Caleb Kane serves as the creator, writer and showrunner for the project. A24 produces the series which is set to premiere on Oct 15. The original film from 1980 grossed nearly $60 million on a budget of less than $600,000.
