Government forces strike targets

Yemeni air force units carried out new strikes against Houthi reinforcements at the Al-Dharifah junction in the Al-Wazi'iyah district. Another strike targeted a Houthi communications centre located in the Al-Hawban area east of Taiz city. These actions occurred as fighting continued across multiple fronts in western Taiz province.

Fighting spans strategic terrain

Local sources indicated that heavy combat persists between government forces and Houthi fighters throughout the Kahbub mountain range. This area stretches between Lahj and Taiz provinces and controls routes leading to the western coast and Bab al-Mandeb. The strategic importance of this location was highlighted by officials monitoring the conflict.
