Trump denies limiting Ukraine Starlink access after speed restrictions
US President Donald Trump denied restricting Ukrainian access to the Starshield network following reports that speed limits hampered Kyiv's drone defenses.

White House denies involvement in slowdown
Trump stated he did not order the restrictions and suggested Elon Musk was not responsible for the decision. Reuters reported that an internal White House order caused the network slowdown which affected military-grade Starshield services. Zelensky confirmed that interceptor systems remained ineffective while the speed issues persisted on Tuesday.
Russia targets energy infrastructure widely
Moscow carried out a massive strike hitting more than 15 sites across Ukraine's energy sector according to President Zelenskyy. Kyiv said it would stop targeting Russian oil refineries if Moscow confirmed a ceasefire but Russia did not verify the agreement. The US had previously warned it could withhold intelligence sharing if Ukraine continued attacking these specific targets.
Technical issues vary by location
Ukrainian officials noted that Starlink operated at higher speeds when used within EU territory without similar problems. Zelensky told reporters he was discussing the technical limitations with US officials while testing showed no such issues abroad.
