Trump criticizes Norway after missing out on Nobel Peace Prize

President attacks committee decision

Trump called the choice to award the prize to Navi Pillay disgraceful and embarrassing. He stated that the United States should have received the honor instead of Norway. The president described the committee's action as an indelible stain on the country.

Remarks about winner and wars

The US leader referred to Pillay as a mystery person that nobody had heard of. He claimed he was about to settle or win two more conflicts involving Iran and Russia-Ukraine. Trump listed several other disputes he said he helped resolve without providing evidence.

Criticism of committee members

Trump asserted that the Nobel Peace Prize has been discredited by radical ideologues who are enemies of civilization. He insisted that Norway would not forget the decision to snub him this year.
