Transfer confirmed by officials

The US Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer occurred on Friday, October 16, 2026. Combs moved from FCI Fort Dix to the minimum-security facility known as FCI Allenwood Low. A spokesperson stated that the agency does not discuss conditions of confinement or reasons for transfers.

Spokesman addresses reports

Combs' representative Juda Engelmayer said the move is consistent with safety and security decisions made by the bureau. The spokesman declined to comment on tabloid reports regarding his lifestyle or health while incarcerated in New Jersey. He added that the team hopes Combs can continue serving his time without unnecessary disruption.

Legal status remains active

Combs, 56, is serving a 50-month sentence for two prostitution-related crimes. He has asked an appeals court to release him and overturn his conviction. The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on reports regarding his treatment or the cause of his recent hospitalization.
