Naomi Campbell wins appeal against five-year charity trustee ban
Supermodel Naomi Campbell won an appeal to overturn a five-year ban on acting as a charity trustee after a tribunal ruled she was unaware of misconduct at Fashion for Relief.

Tribunal rules supermodel not involved
A three-person panel decided that the most serious instances of wrongdoing were concealed from Campbell by another trustee. The judges stated she did not know about the conduct and was not involved in it. Her fellow lawyer Bianka Hellmich forged her signature and used a fake email to misdirect funds.
Commission opposed the challenge
The Charity Commission had argued that Campbell abdicated her responsibilities as a trustee. They claimed she was highly culpable for governance failures and the misuse of money raised for victims. The tribunal rejected these arguments in its judgment issued on Thursday.
