Iranian military spokesman says forces are stronger and more motivated than at war start
An Iranian army spokesman stated on Saturday that the nation's armed forces are stronger and more alert than they were when the conflict with the United States began in late February.

Military strength and motivation increase
Mohammad Akraminia told state news agency Irna that troops have gained experience from direct confrontation. He noted that the Islamic Republic's armed forces now possess greater commitment and self-confidence. The spokesman added that these units are on higher alert than at the beginning of the war.
Control over strategic waterway maintained
Akraminia confirmed that Iranian forces retain control over the Strait of Hormuz. He stated the waterway would remain closed until the United States accepts Tehran's demands. The response of the armed forces will be immediate and without geographical limitations under Supreme Leader orders.
US reward for intelligence details
The US military offered a $20 million reward for information regarding Iran's nuclear programme. This offer includes possible relocation for those who provide the data. The programme was established in 1984 under the State Department's national security rewards.
