Diplomatic meeting in Azerbaijan
The two leaders discussed the Palestinian question during a conference in Baku. Wang Yi stated that China views this issue as the greatest historical injustice of this century. He emphasized that promoting peace remains the cornerstone of Beijing's Middle East policy.
Call to reverse actions
The Chinese minister told Israel to stop and reverse its forced establishment of settlements in the West Bank. Wang added that the immediate priority is fully opening access routes into Gaza to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe from spreading.
