United Airlines has updated its lounge facilities at Newark Liberty International Airport over the last four years.
New dining options available
The Polaris Lounge now serves a warm chocolate chip cookie skillet topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. This dessert is prepared fresh in an oven before being served to passengers waiting for their flights.
Operating hours remain consistent
Most United lounges at the airport are open from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily. The location near Gate C123 operates until 10:30 p.m. instead of the standard closing time.
Design updates completed recently
The airline transformed several lounges to include boutique hotel design elements and fresh-made food options. These changes aim to provide a comfortable environment similar to a local coffee shop.
