Pakistan International Airlines starts three weekly direct flights to Birmingham
Pakistan International Airlines will begin three weekly direct flights between Islamabad and Birmingham starting December 1.

Flight schedule and routes
The new service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. An airline spokesperson stated the route serves Pakistanis in northern and central UK regions. Birmingham Airport confirmed high demand from Midlands travellers drove the decision.
Previous travel restrictions lifted
European Union bans ended on November 28, 2024 after safety concerns were addressed. The United Kingdom also removed its ban in July 2025. PIA previously increased weekly flights to London from four to seven starting October 27.
