Location and accessibility details

The property sits on a fragment of coastline closer to Darwin than Jakarta. The site features white sand beaches, dense coconut palms, and a steady trade wind during the dry season.

Resort facilities and design

The hotel includes thoughtfully designed thatched low-rise villas with swimming pools at the eastern end of the bay. Interiors utilize local materials such as lontar palm and ikat textiles while a beach club named Nammo fronts the Bo'a break.

Surfing context and timing

Aussie surfers have visited this location for its long clean waves for over forty years. The new resort is currently taking shape as it prepares to serve guests in this remote area of the eastern Indonesian archipelago.
