Designers blend local style with modern touches
Architect Hart Howerton used neighboring cottages as inspiration for the building's wood shutters and clapboard siding. Interior firm Champalimaud Design added seashell door knockers and rattan details to the rooms.
New restaurants expand dining options
The arrival of the club increased the number of restaurant choices in the area. James Beard Award winner Gavin Kaysen now oversees a steakhouse-style menu at the Merchant Room.
