KPCTA begins installing camping pods at three Shangla and Swat locations

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announced on September 15 that it is installing new camping pods at Acharr Sar, Laram Top, and Beyun.

Project aims to boost tourism

Director General Shahid Khan Mohmand shared the news during a meeting with press representatives in Peshawar. The initiative seeks to expand local hospitality options while opening up unexplored tourist destinations within the province.

Officials oversee the construction work

The project proceeds under specific directives from Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and Special Assistant Malik Adeel Iqbal. These camping units will become operational for visitors during the upcoming tourist season.

Eco-friendly lodging in high belts

Mohmand described the new facilities as comfortable and eco-friendly accommodations situated in scenic high-altitude areas. He also noted that media partnerships remain crucial for raising awareness about safe and sustainable tourism practices.
