Fire at Cox’s Bazar resort kills ten people including children
At least ten people died in a fire at Tuptup Resto and Resort near Inani Beach in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, on Saturday morning.

Rescue efforts contained the blaze
Fire service units and Border Guard Bangladesh personnel worked together to bring the fire under control. The three-story wooden building burned quickly after the incident started.
Victims included tourists and children
Authorities confirmed that about thirty people were inside the structure when the flames erupted. Many of the deceased were severely burned, which made identifying their bodies difficult without DNA testing.
Officials warn on safety rules
The resort lacked the necessary fire safety license and had received previous warnings about risks. An investigation committee has now been formed to determine how the fire started.
