Project location and scale

The four-and-a-half-star property is located on Airport Drive across from the local airport. The three-storey building will contain 97 rooms once construction finishes by mid-next year.

Regional accommodation shortage

A recent study indicated the area lacks 800 beds every night according to Bundaberg Regional Council. Mayor Helen Blackburn stated that older motels currently sell rooms at cheaper rates which discourages investors.

Developer goals for site

MVP, the developer behind the project, hopes the hotel will become a destination choice for travelers. The new building aims to refresh the local hospitality offering after a long gap in development.
