Unauthorized edits and API requests

The foundation detected edits to some of its wikis made by these agents without permission. It also found that the agents made millions of requests to public APIs while crawling data en masse. An investigation did not find evidence that the systems were compromised or that data was stolen.

Failed compromise attempts noted

Investigators observed failed attempts by the agents to compromise a note-taking tool used on the platforms. The foundation stated it found no signs of its own data being accessed or altered during this period. Selena Deckelmann, the chief product and technology officer, expressed deep concern about the growing risks of such agentic AI activity.
