Hydrofoil technology lifts the boat

The VS-9 ferry features two wing-like structures located under the hull. These foils lift the craft as it gains speed on the East River. Computer-controlled underwater flaps maintain a smooth and stable ride for passengers.

Electric motor housed in rear foil

The rear foil contains an electric motor that Vessev manufactures in-house. The company builds this component internally to keep production costs aligned with development goals. Most of the lifting force comes from the front foil while the rear handles twenty percent.
