Valve Steam Frame headset starts at $1,059 with Half-Life Alyx included
Valve has announced pricing and availability details for its new Steam Frame VR headset launching in September.
Pricing and storage options
The base model contains 256GB of storage and costs $1,059. A version with 1TB of storage is available for $1,299. Both configurations include controllers and a native port of Half-Life: Alyx.
Reservation system timeline
Interested buyers must register their interest between now and September 17 at 10 AM PT. Valve will randomize the list after this deadline to determine purchase eligibility. Winners can complete their order within 72 hours of receiving an offer.
Additional accessories available
Optional items include a power supply unit for $29 and an accessory replacement kit for $49. Prescription lenses from Zenni Optical will be available later without a specific price yet.
