The USMNT will host El Tri in an International Friendly 2026 match on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Match details and timing
Kick-off is scheduled for 10pm ET or 7pm PT. Mauricio Pochettino leads the USMNT while Rafael Marquez manages Mexico. The game marks a test for both sides after recent World Cup exits.
Squad selections and form
Pochettino selected an experimental squad with Christian Pulisic absent due to injury or load management. Tyler Adams and Yunus Musah are among those bringing experience to the field. Mexico has recorded two draws under new manager Rafael Marquez since July.
Recent tournament history
The USMNT won their previous two friendlies against Peru and Chile. Mexico lost in the last 16 of their home tournament to England. Both teams face a significant test following these international friendlies.
