The Browser Company sunsets Arc browser on December 22 to focus on Dia
The Browser Company announced it will shut down its Arc browser on December 22 while directing users to its new AI-first product, Dia.

Sunset timeline and account closure
New Arc accounts stopped accepting registrations on Thursday. On November 23, iOS and Android versions will lose specific AI features like Browse for Me. The application will cease functioning entirely on Mac and Windows devices by the December 22 deadline.
Data deletion and feature removal
Personal data stored in accounts will be deleted within thirty days of shutdown. Arc Search will also disappear from the Google Play Store during this process. Users can no longer sign in or sync their tabs after the November 23 date.
Shift to Dia browser strategy
The organization is prioritizing resources for Dia, which it claims meets current security standards better than Arc. Existing bookmarks and passwords will transfer automatically to the new platform. The company notes that additional features in Dia remain optional for customers concerned about AI.
