Tamagotchi Paradise devices now run Game Boy Color games
Users have modified Tamagotchi Paradise units released in 2025 to play and trade Pokémon Gold and Silver.
Community shares playable footage
Reddit user markivino posted photos showing two customized devices running the games. The setups allow players to connect the units for trading creatures. Another modder shared an image of a White Glacier model running a different title.
Modding community expands options
The Tamagotchi fandom has long produced custom shells and contemporary emulators. This new capability gives buyers who disliked the original model a fresh reason to own it. Reports indicate the games are fully playable on these modified hardware units.
