Study finds university students keep using ChatGPT for learning
A new study from Eötvös Loránd University examines why higher education students intend to continue using ChatGPT for academic work.

Research team used machine learning methods
Researchers at the Faculty of Informatics applied an interpretable machine learning framework to analyze student data. The investigation focused on specific variables that drive the decision to adopt generative artificial intelligence tools in a university setting.
Survey covered 166 participants
The project analyzed questionnaire responses collected from one hundred and sixty-six students enrolled at the institution. Results indicate that learning support and accessibility are primary drivers for future usage intentions among this group.
Other factors influence adoption rates
Academic engagement, usability, and perceived reliability also play a decisive role in whether students plan to keep using the tool. The findings suggest that these specific elements combine to shape how learners integrate AI into their daily study routines.
