Sony unveils two new PlayStation Pulse headsets with different features
Sony has revealed two new wireless PlayStation Pulse headsets intended to replace the previous models.

New Edge model offers studio sound
The PlayStation Pulse Edge includes custom planar magnetic drivers designed for studio-inspired audio quality. This headset features eight magnets, a detachable boom mic with AI noise rejection, and active noise cancellation.
Entry-level Pulse lacks advanced tools
The second model is positioned as an entry-level option that reduces the number of driver magnets to four. It omits the boom mic, game audio balance slider, active noise cancellation, and a carrying case.
Pricing details remain unannounced
Sony has not released official pricing for either new headset at this time. The company describes these products as the next line of PS5 audio equipment.
