Sony Bravia Theater Trio delivers immersive sound for any screen size
Sony has released the Bravia Theater Trio speaker package designed to provide exceptional audio for films and music in rooms of any shape.
Design and speaker configuration
The system consists of a three-piece package containing center, left, and right speakers. These units are larger and heavier than typical satellite speakers found with standard home theatre systems.
Development motivation and approach
Sony developed this product after its audio department found regular soundbars lacked the power to match big TVs. The company chose a three-speaker solution instead of creating one extremely long single bar.
Room adaptation and connectivity
The speakers adapt well to different room layouts while offering good expansion options for users. However, the system requires optional rear speakers to achieve a full surround sound effect.
