The company built software to convert standard text files and textbooks into a scrolling interface similar to Instagram Reels. Users swipe up to see new topics or sideways to explore deeper content within a single subject.
Content includes quizzes and audio
ScrollEd generates video, audio, and text using artificial intelligence while placing interactive quizzes at the end of sections. Swiping actions allow students to navigate between different topics or dive deeper into specific explanations.
Founders target short-form attention spans
Co-founder Utsav Gupta told TechCrunch that younger generations prefer vertical feeds and require media companies to meet them there. The team aims to use this format deliberately without maximizing engagement on the platform.
