Samsung S Pen Pro is the only stylus tracked by SmartThings Find
Samsung officially supports only the S Pen Pro for location tracking via SmartThings Find across its Galaxy device lineup.

Compatible devices and release history
The company introduced support for this specific pen with the Galaxy S21 Ultra in January 2021. Later releases including the Z Fold 3 and Note 20 series also received compatibility updates. Current models range from the S21 through the S26 Ultra and include foldable devices up to the Z Fold 6.
Hardware features and pricing
This larger stylus costs one hundred dollars when purchased separately for individual users. It includes a USB-C port located under the cap along with a dedicated pairing button. A physical switch allows the device to connect only to compatible Galaxy smartphones or tablets.
Limitations of standard pens
Standard battery-free pens found on older Note phones do not work with the tracking service. Even newer S Pens without Bluetooth capabilities cannot be located using the SmartThings Find app. Users receive only a reminder if a missing pen is left in a phone slot.
