Funding round details and investors

Euclyd closed a Series A funding round totaling $231 million. Several firms besides Samsung joined the investment group to support the company. Somerset Capital Partners co-led this financial round alongside other venture funds.

Business model and product strategy

The startup intends to sell complete AI systems directly to enterprises for on-site inference. It also plans to license intellectual property to firms wishing to build their own chips. This approach supports two separate lines of business going forward.

Timeline for commercial hardware delivery

CEO Bernardo Kastrup stated that physical hardware will not reach customers until 2028. The company aims to dethrone Nvidia's dominance in artificial intelligence hardware during this period. Delivery of the first commercial chip remains scheduled for that year.
