Samsung Auto Blocker filters apps and USB commands on Galaxy phones
Samsung has enabled a built-in security feature called Auto Blocker on Galaxy devices running One UI 6.0 or later to filter untrustworthy apps and commands.

Feature filters threats automatically
The system runs in the background without user intervention to block potential risks. It stops threats from apps, public charging cables, and images received in text messages.
Settings vary by software version
Devices shipping with One UI 6.1.1 or later have the feature enabled by default. Users on earlier versions of One UI 6 must manually activate the tool.
Third-party app access issues arise
The filter can complicate workflows for people who sideload applications or use developer tools. Epic Games previously sued Samsung claiming the feature made downloading third-party apps unnecessarily difficult.
