Setup for the wine tasting test

Attendees gathered in a plush executive lounge away from the main campgrounds. Participants scanned a QR code with their smartphones to connect to the AI system. The agent had been trained on data covering approximately 400,000 different types of wines.

Process for describing the samples

Before tasting each glass, the software asked users to provide keywords about appearance and aroma. Three glasses of mystery wines were served for the evaluation session. The technology aimed to replicate human senses like taste and smell.

Mixed results from the experiment

The final outcomes regarding the AI's accuracy were described as mixed by the reporter. This test questioned whether current AI can fully replace sommeliers in sensory tasks. Salesforce continues to push forward with these AI-enabled experiences for customers.
