Russian firm Positive Technologies finds 11 security flaws in Google and Apple products
Sanctioned Russian cybersecurity company Positive Technologies reported finding 11 vulnerabilities in devices from Google and Apple.
Android flaws allow unauthorized access
One vulnerability lets attackers run an app on a phone without the owner giving approval. Another flaw allows installed applications to change Wi-Fi settings or add certificates without asking for extra permissions. Google resolved both Android issues in its September 2026 patches.
Apple devices face multiple risks
Nine of the discovered flaws specifically affected Apple software and hardware systems. One particular issue could grant hostile applications the highest system privileges on a Mac. The company shared these findings with Russian news agency TASS.
