New sensing hubs enable local agents
The new chips include sensing hubs capable of running small models with up to 200 million parameters locally. These components allow smartphones to operate a personal scribe and differentiate between speakers without needing cloud connectivity.
Extreme version supports large local models
The high-end Extreme variant can run a mixture-of-experts model containing 30 billion parameters on the device. This approach activates only specific parameters required for particular tasks rather than loading the entire model size.
Camera controls improve video recording
The processors provide pixel-level control for cameras to facilitate professional experiences and improved stabilization. The Extreme version supports video recording at 8K resolution with a frame rate of 60fps.
