Pikmin 4 discount arrives ahead of Switch 2 update
Walmart is selling a discounted digital copy of Pikmin 4 for the Nintendo Switch while an upgrade to the upcoming Switch 2 version becomes available.
Current pricing and savings
Walmart has reduced the price of the digital game to $39.88, which is roughly twenty dollars less than the standard cost. Buyers can purchase the base title for forty dollars and then pay ten dollars to access the future console version. This approach saves customers twenty dollars compared to buying the Switch 2 Edition directly at its full price of sixty-nine ninety-nine.
Upcoming console release details
Nintendo announced that a version for the next generation console will launch on November 12, 2026. That edition includes polished visuals and voice commands for the dog companion found in the current game. The new release also adds a mode called Dandori Academy to provide extra challenges over time.
