Pakistan and Russia advance technology cooperation through direct business partnerships
Pakistan and Russia agreed to move bilateral technology cooperation from dialogue to practical business engagement during a webinar in Islamabad on Thursday.
Focus on company-to-company partnerships
The two nations pledged to explore opportunities for direct company-to-company partnerships, joint ventures, and investment across emerging technology sectors. Leading companies and industry representatives from both sides were brought together to translate government ties into concrete commercial contracts.
Six areas of industrial complementarity
Discussions centred on six specific areas where the two industries complement each other, including artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The agenda also covered cyber-security, critical infrastructure protection, digital governance, and other emerging technology sectors.
Event organised by PSEB
The Pakistan, Russia IT Collaboration Webinar was the third in a series organised by the Pakistan Software Export Board. The event took place at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives with Russian speakers joining from Moscow.
