Orico launches its first laptop with Ryzen processor and upgradeable storage
Accessories company Orico is pre-ordering its debut Obook15 laptop in the US and Philippines before October 23.

New market entry for data firm
The manufacturer spent seventeen years selling storage accessories before building a full computer. This new device marks the company's first attempt at making laptops after decades of focusing on data links.
Processor and memory specifications
The machine uses an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H chip that provides eight cores and sixteen threads. Memory options include 12GB or 24GB of LPDDR5 running at a speed of 6400MT/s.
Storage expansion capabilities
One drive slot is occupied while the second remains empty for future upgrades. The available slot supports PCIe 4.0 speeds and allows storage capacity up to 4TB.
