Meta announced a new integration bringing New York Times Cooking recipes to its AI and display glasses at the Connect developer conference.

This feature allows the system to restructure lengthy recipe steps into brief spoken instructions rather than reading them verbatim. The integration is currently not available but was demonstrated during a preview session at the recent event.
Support extends to non-display models
Meta confirmed that this new partnership will also work with its wider lineup of non-display AI glasses in addition to the display-enabled versions. The update aims to solve previous frustrations where recipe steps did not appear long enough on the screen for users to complete them. Developers received a brief look at how the audio guidance system functions during the state of the union presentation.
