Prototype specifications and features

The device weighs roughly 106 pounds and stands about five feet tall. It includes an external display for facial expressions, a built-in speaker, and hands capable of picking up small objects. Internally, the machine uses NVIDIA Jetson Thor chips to power its operations.

Development timeline and upgrades

Construction took place over roughly three months with assistance from Fourier. Meta has already begun work on a second version codenamed Max 2 since September. The upcoming design will update the torso and hands while adding a projector and sensors to help handle stairs.
