Lyft has added Waymo driverless robotaxis to its mobile application in Nashville.

Customers can now hail a Waymo vehicle directly through the Lyft app. The service matches riders with available autonomous cars depending on current availability. This marks Lyft's first commercial entry into driverless robotaxi services without a human operator.
Operational responsibilities
Lyft handles fleet services including vehicle readiness and maintenance for the deployment. Its subsidiary Flexdrive manages infrastructure and depot operations under the agreement. Riders can also access these vehicles via the dedicated Waymo app.
